Traffic is life and the keys to a new car. Who won the main prize of the project “Sport for all”
The festival “movement FEST” summed up the interim results of the season of the project “Sport for All” in the square near the stadium.

The festival “movement FEST” summed up the interim results of the season of the project “Sport for all” in the square near the stadium “Dynamo” on September 6. The holiday brought together sports fans, and its culmination was the drawing of a car, bicycles, sports simulators and other sports equipment from the Presidential Sports Club. How many Minsk residents took part in the project and to whom luck smiled on that day, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency found out.

The second season of the project “Sport for All” started in early June and for three summer months gathered more than 30 thousand participants. During this time, more than 5 thousand free trainings in various areas were held at six venues of Minsk.
The program included yoga, running, chess, bosu-training, cycling, power body and many other activities. This season, exclusively women's training appeared. Classes were held in the square near the hotel "Belarus", on the beach No. 3 of the Tsnyansk reservoir, in the park named after the 50th anniversary of the Great October near the National Football Stadium, Apple Square, Tivoli Park and Pavlov Park. The season is not over yet. In September, three platforms will continue to work – Apple Square, a square near the hotel “Belarus” and the park named after M. Pavlov.

The second season of the project “Sport for all” is not over yet. It continues throughout September. We optimized the work of the coaches and the schedule so that the classes remained effective and interesting for the participants, said Pavel Egorov, Assistant Chairman of the Presidential Sports Club.
According to him, the organizers expect to bring the number of trainings to 6 thousand. Next year, the project is going to be even bigger.
- I would like to make the third season more popular. We are talking about the number of locations and their capacity. It is important not only to increase the number of sites, but also to think through logistics, a set of activities and the work of coaches. We need specialists who burn the project themselves and are able to transfer this energy to the participants, Egorov said.
“Motion FEST” became a kind of meeting point for all those who regularly went to the training of the project “Sport for All” during the summer. The festival was combined with the Minsk Half Marathon, and on the site at Dynamo, a real celebration of the movement was arranged - with activities for children and adults.

Guests could play table tennis, try their hand at arm wrestling, take part in wooden games and even briefly transfer themselves to the aerobics atmosphere of the 1980s. On the main stage, training with star guests took place: jumping under a DJ set, Cuban dances, a body ballet with the prima of the Bolshoi Theater, as well as an incendiary cha-cha with Theo and Olga Ryzhikova. The program was complemented by live music.

For those who wanted not so much to accelerate, but to recover, a zone of calm traffic worked. Here you could visit women's yoga, stretching, kung fu, bosu-training and other practices.

The most intriguing part of the festival was the drawing of gifts among the participants of the project. In total, about 700 people participated in it.

The main prize – the Geely car – went to the Minsk woman Natalia Short. During the season, she almost did not miss training and especially loved dance directions.

- I'm still shaking, I don't believe it's really real. I believed very much - and it came true. We spent the whole weekend with my husband and kids. I love dance directions, and most of all, Zumba. But perhaps the most valuable thing about this project is emotions. You are looking forward to the next training session, because you know: there you will meet again a special atmosphere, which creates people around.

Among the winners was Tatiana Ratko - she got a bicycle. During the season, the Minsk woman managed to try many unusual directions for herself.
- Sometimes I spent in training from morning to evening. I was interested in trying something I had never done before: Nordic walking, crossfit, workout. I tried yoga for the first time. But most of all, I liked dance training - dance mix, Zumba, Latino.
During her participation in the project, Ratko scored 333 points, attending more than 60 training sessions.

However, the main result of the “Sport for All” organizers and participants themselves do not call the number of classes or even prizes. Over the summer, the project managed to unite Minsk residents, for whom sports became an occasion to leave the house more often, get acquainted, communicate and just spend time actively.
