Two Tambov residents became winners of the Pride of the Nation award stage

In Lipetsk, the ceremony of awarding the winners of the district stage of the VII All-Russian public award “Pride of the Nation” was held. From the Tambov region, awards were received by Byamba Tserendash and Tatiana Filippova.
In total, the region nominated nine candidates for the award in all nominations. By the number of applications, the Tambov region took the third place in the Central Federal District.
Byamba Tserendash is a retired major of the Mongolian People's Revolutionary Army, a member of the Tambov Regional Branch of the Assembly of Peoples of Russia. During military service, he studied at the Tambov Artillery and Technical Red Banner School, and in 1987 he moved with his family to Tambov. Here he worked at the Pigment factory, taught Russian to Mongolian students and basic military training.
Today, Byamba Tserendash continues his social work: he meets with schoolchildren and students, talks about Mongolian culture and the history of friendship between the peoples of Russia and Mongolia, and introduces the Mongolian audience to life in Russia and the Tambov region in social networks in his native language.
The second winner is 19-year-old Tatiana Filippova, head of the youth wing of the Tambov regional branch of the Assembly of Peoples of Russia. She participates in volunteer, educational and patriotic projects aimed at strengthening interethnic harmony and preserving cultural traditions.
Tatiana twice became a finalist of the All-Russian competition “Big Change”, participated in the educational marathon “Russia is a family of families”, and in 2025 she represented the Tambov region at the All-Russian educational intensive “Code of Unity”. She also heads the regional direction of the Kibera media movement, whose team creates materials about the life of the region, including interethnic relations.
Now in the Tambov region, four laureates of the Pride of the Nation award. In 2025, the awards were received by Zoya Nazarkin – in the nomination “For Contribution to Information Support of State National Policy” – and the rector of the Church of Surb Mariam Astvatsatsin, Priest Vigen Manukyan – in the nomination “For Effective Leadership in National and Cultural Associations”.
