"Almost choked": Razumovskaya survived an attack on the set

Russian actress Karina Razumovskaya, known to viewers on the series “Major”, told about a dangerous episode during the filming of the thriller “Forest”. The actress admitted that she survived a panic attack while working on the scene with a heavy shower. Due to the intense flow of water, she lost her orientation for a while and ceased to understand what was happening around her.

To create realistic rain, the crew used fire trucks that supplied large amounts of water. According to Razumovskaya’s scenario, it was necessary to lie on the ground while powerful streams fell on her. At some point, the situation reminded the actress of the childhood fear of drowning, provoking a strong panic reaction. She felt like she was choking and stopped hearing the director's instructions.

According to Razumovskaya, during the attack, she could not even determine whether the shooting is still ongoing or the take has already been completed. Despite the preparation for the stage, the emotional reaction was much stronger than the actress expected. This case became one of the most difficult impressions for her from working on the picture.
