Environmentalists with 15 years of experience received medals for the anniversary of the region

In the Kaliningrad region, eight employees of the EKAT environmental center were awarded anniversary medals for the 80th anniversary of the region. The awards were presented on November 6 by Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology Oksana Astakhova.

All awardees have worked in the center for at least 15 years. They are involved in checking mineral and groundwater reserves, clearing rivers, restoring former landfills and monitoring the environment.

The ceremony was held on the 31st anniversary of the environmental center.
