People’s Artist of the RSFSR Lidia Fedoseyeva-Shukshina, who died on November 6 at the age of 88, supported aspiring filmmakers at Lenfilm. About this in an interview with the “Petersburg diary” said a member of the Board of the Guild of producers of Russia, former Director General of the film studio Eduard Pichugin.
According to Pichugin, they met on “Lenfilm”, when the leadership tried to revive the film studio and invited famous artists to support young authors. Fedoseyeva-Shukshina often attended projects and creative evenings as a mentor and spectator, and also came to the awards of aspiring filmmakers.
The producer noted that, despite the fame of the actress, communicating with her was easy. According to his memories, she remained a kind, soulful and active person, with respect and attention to the work of young colleagues and for many became a reference point in the profession.
Pichugin also recalled a story he heard from the director of the Lenconcert, who was close to the Shukshin family. According to the producer, he said that the guests were treated to barbecue according to a special recipe: the meat was marinated not in kefir, but in milk, which was soured for about an hour.
