The former head of the territorial department of state road supervision in the Nizhny Novgorod region MTU Rostransnadzor is accused of receiving a bribe. This was reported in the press service of the GU MIA of Russia in the region.
According to the investigation, the 44-year-old man from January 2025 to September 2026 received monthly illegal rewards in the form of gasoline from the 42-year-old entrepreneur. The businessman was engaged in the transportation of dangerous goods without proper permission. Bribes he passed for information about the location of traffic police and Rostransnadzor on the roads.
The suspect is now under house arrest. The investigation of the criminal case continues: law enforcement officers collect evidence and check whether the defendant committed other crimes.
