The U.S. Department of Justice said former CIA officer David Rush, who was found to have gold bars, pleaded guilty to embezzling about $194 million in public funds

The U.S. Department of Justice reported that former CIA officer David Rush, who was found in gold bars, fully admitted guilt in the embezzlement of public funds worth about $194 million.
The head of the FBI Cash Patel, whose words are cited by the Justice Department, noted that, according to his own admission, Rush cheated the government for hundreds of millions of dollars, and spent the money on extravagant purchases.
The investigation showed that Rush created fictitious state structures to receive budget funds, and with this money bought gold bars, luxury real estate, watches and at least one car, with the total amount of embezzled amounted to just over 193.6 million dollars.
