FITSO expert held a lecture on motivational monitoring for education leaders

Expert of the Federal Institute of Digital Transformation in Education (FITSTO) Tatyana Pokidysheva gave a lecture to the heads of municipal education systems of the Pskov region and the Krasnodar Territory. The event was held as part of a refresher course at the Institute for the Implementation of State Policy at the State University of Education (SUE). About this “MK in Pskov” told in the Ministry of education of the Pskov region.

The topic of the lecture is “Interpretation and use of monitoring and evaluation results for management decisions”. Students of the program “System Management of Municipality Education: An Effective Team for New Results” analyzed the structure of motivating monitoring indicators, the logic of interpreting the dynamics of results and how to apply data at the municipal level.

The expert paid special attention to practical techniques: the participants studied algorithms for identifying “growth points” and problem areas, as well as mechanisms for targeted support of educational organizations. During the lesson, real cases were analyzed – they showed how monitoring data help to adjust the municipality development program.

“All motivating monitoring indicators, to one degree or another, focus on a key priority: the well-being of children, their harmonious development and a successful future. This is the main guideline and strategic national goal for the development of our country, Tatyana Pokidysheva emphasized.

The audience highly appreciated the practical value of the material: the presented algorithms allow to systematically analyze indicators and make informed management decisions. At the end of the meeting, the expert answered the participants’ questions and gave individual recommendations on working with data.

Motivational monitoring serves as a tool for synchronizing the federal, regional and municipal levels of management in a single education system. Since 2023, the federal operator of this monitoring is the Federal Institute of Digital Transformation in Education, appointed by the Ministry of Education.
