“Torch” will devote the match with “Dynamo” the history of Voronezh cosmonautics

Voronezh football club "Fakel" has prepared special chevrons for the uniform of players for the match with "Dynamo". They depicted the Soviet spacecraft Soyuz-16, associated with the history of Voronezh cosmonautics and sports teams of the city. This was reported on November 6 in the press service of the club.

The choice of symbols is associated with cosmonaut Anatoly Filipchenko, who flew on the Soyuz-16. His call sign Buran later became the name of the Voronezh hockey club.

Another detail of chevron refers to the industrial history of the city. The RD-0110 engine, thanks to which the rocket was able to go into space, was developed in the Design Bureau of Chemical Automatics - an enterprise with which the history of the foundation of the Torch is associated.

Similar chevrons will appear on the form of hockey “Buran” during the match with the Hammer.

T-shirts of the Torch players included in the application for the meeting with Dynamo will go on sale in the club fan shop. Each of them will be released in a single copy.
