A farmer from the Yelets district received gold “Golden autumn” for the automation of growing raspberries

Denis Kalashniuk from the Yelets District was awarded the gold medal of the competition “The best practice of implementing technologies and innovations in small agribusiness”.

The award was presented to the farmer as part of the Golden Autumn 2026 exhibition. This was reported in the Ministry of Agriculture of the Lipetsk region.

Kalashniuk presented the project of automation of irrigation and nutrition of raspberries. The digital system introduced in the farm controls these processes, and the farmer himself relies on an innovative approach to growing renovated raspberries - in the open field he harvests two crops a year.

Denis has been developing the berry direction in the village of Cherkasy of the Yeletsky District for almost five years, combining it with the cultivation of garden strawberries. In 2022, he became a recipient of the Agrostrap grant: the farmer purchased raspberry seedlings with state support. Products of the farm are produced under its own registered brand "Eletskaya Berry".

The regional Ministry of Agriculture congratulated the farmer on the award and noted his contribution to the development of small agribusiness in the region.
