In the branch of Rosseti Center and Volga Region - Ivenergo, the third season of the educational project "Energy Circle" of the Rosseti Group was launched. This year, the team of young physics enthusiasts was joined by guys from Lyceum No. 33 in Ivanovo. Also continued the work of the circles, opened earlier, in gymnasium No. 3 in Teykov and school No. 14 in Ivanovo.
The grand opening of the new direction was attended by the director of the branch of "Ivenergo" Andrei Ukhtin and the head of lyceum No33 Anna Shulepova. They noted the importance and prospects of such cooperation for students.
For the children, an educational lecture on the topic “Russia is an energy power” was held, as well as an exciting game “Giant Jenga”. This has helped students understand the scale and importance of the energy industry.
The main goal of the project is to prepare a personnel reserve for the energy industry from among motivated and talented children interested in professional self-realization. During lectures, practical classes and master classes, students will be able to get acquainted with the history and corporate culture of the enterprise, electric power professions, the design and technological process of the electric grid complex.
In addition to in-depth study of physics and preparation for exams, the curriculum includes energy saving lessons and participation in the All-Russian Olympiad of schoolchildren of the Rosseti Group. The career guidance unit will include excursions to energy facilities, meetings with experts and work on the basis of the training center of the company.
We see great interest from schoolchildren in our project and understand how important it is today to prepare a change for the energy industry. “Energy circles” is not just additional classes, it is an opportunity for children to touch the profession, understand its specifics and, perhaps, determine their life path. We are glad to see students of Lyceum No. 33 in our ranks and are confident that the new season will bring them a lot of useful knowledge and vivid impressions, said Andrey Ukhtin, director of the Ivenergo branch.
