Film about the disappeared reserve near Serpukhov received an award at the festival
The film “Trails of Protopopov”, created for the 80th anniversary of the Prioksko-Terrasny Reserve by the director of the OTV-Serpukhov TV channel Olesei Akinfeeva, became the laureate of the International Environmental Television Festival “Territory Tomorrow” in Nizhny Novgorod
The film tells about the history of the creation of one of the first reserves of the country and the fate of unique natural areas that were once protected by law. The 37-minute film was awarded by the jury for the depth of the theme. Since 2017, Olesya Akinfeeva has repeatedly become a finalist and winner of the festival. As part of the forum, participants traditionally released young sterlets to the Volga as a sign of support for the preservation of natural resources.
