The final of the contest of student families “Happy together” will be held on October 17 in Minsk

From October 14 to 17, the final stage of the republican contest of student families “Happy Together” will be held in Minsk. The event is aimed at strengthening traditional family values and forming a positive attitude towards marriage and family life among young people. This sb.by reported in the press service of the Ministry of Education.

The participants of the competition were young families in which one of the spouses is studying at a higher education institution in Belarus, and the second spouse is not older than 31 years. At the qualifying stage, 30 couples demonstrated their strength. According to its results, 10 families received the right to perform in the final.

The finalists will have to pass six competitive tests, the department announced. In the contest-presentation “Do you remember how it all began?” families will talk about the history of the creation of their family, traditions and hobbies. In the Family Quest sports competition, participants will demonstrate cohesion, resourcefulness and sports skills. In the competition “Sign of quality” families will make a keyboard, in the competition “Tree of generations” will create a family family family tree. In the competition “Holiday dinner and table setting” will show practical skills, and in the competition “The family is rich in talents” will present a joint creative number.

The finals program is not limited to competitive tests. Participants will visit landmark cultural and national heritage sites of Belarus, take part in dialogue meetings and thematic platforms, as well as in the ceremony of laying flowers at the obelisk “Minsk – Hero City”.

The solemn ceremony of awarding the winners and finalists will be held on October 17 at the Minsk City Palace of Culture of the Minsk Concert State Institution. In addition, on October 10, the finalists of the Republican contest of student families will take part as spectators in the final of the contest “Family of the Year”.
