The final of the Republican contest “Family of the Year” will be held in Minsk on October 10

On October 10, Minsk will host the final of the VII Republican contest “Family of the Year”. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Belarus.

The Ministry of Labor informed:

The final of the competition will be held in the capital’s Sports Palace on October 10. Seven large families will compete for the title “Family of the Year” – winners of the Minsk city and regional competitions. From the Brest region - the Sviridyuk family (3 children), from Vitebsk - the Mezhuev family (4 children), from Gomel - the Perzhenitsa family (6 children), from Grodno - the Lyakh family (4 children), from Minsk - the Sobalevsky family (4 children), from Mogilev - the Baranov family (3 children), from the city of Minsk - the Belsky family (4 children).

For the winner and participants of the finals, monetary prizes are established: up to 90 basic values for the winner’s diploma, up to 45 basic values for the participant’s diploma, the ministry noted. In addition, the winner and participants of the final will be awarded prizes in kind.

The organizers of the competition are the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, regional and Minsk City Executive Committees, the Ministry of Information, CJSC “Second National TV Channel” and the NGO “Belarusian Women’s Union”.
