Financial Engineering and Digital History. The rector of BSU told about the opening of new specialties

New educational programs will be available for Belarusian applicants next year at BSU. On October 6, the rector of the Belarusian State University Andrey Korol told reporters at a solemn reception for representatives of the republican media on the occasion of the 105th anniversary of the foundation of the university, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency reports.

- Over the past five years, we have created 25 interdisciplinary educational programs. They're in high demand. Intelligent electronics, international economics and trade, African studies, development and design of web applications – all of them were filled not just in the first days, but in the first hours after submission of documents to the budget office. Next year, we plan to open two programs for citizens of our country – “financial engineering” and “digital history”. The last one is at the historical faculty of BSU. This is what will allow us to preserve the historical truth through digital communication, to bring it to the external contour, to spread it beyond the borders of our country. There are plans for cooperation with Moscow State University, which also intends to open such a direction. I think it will be successful, like the previous ones, King said.
