Photo contest, excursions, master classes. Learn how Belarus will celebrate World Tourism Day

In the regions of Belarus, excursions, master classes and thematic meetings will be held for the World Tourism Day. This was reported in the National Agency for Tourism, writes sb.by.

According to BelTA, the holiday is celebrated on September 27. On the eve of this day, tourist information centers (TIC) prepared free events. In Minsk organized a photo contest “Favorite city” for the best photo of the capital. Tours will be held around the Planeta Hotel, the Pobeda cinema, MAZ, MTZ, the Dynamo National Stadium, Minsk-Arena, the National Library, the Trostenets Memorial Complex, the Watchmaking Museum, walking tours around the historical center, the Theater Behind the Scenes, etc. Master classes on traditional Vytinka technique will be held on September 26 and 27.

On September 25 and 26, free walking tours “Heritage of the Gomel Land” and “Dear Memory ...” will be held in Gomel, and on September 24, an excursion to the house temple-museum in honor of the Cathedral of All Belarusian Saints will be held.

In Brest to celebrate the World Tourism Day is invited on September 26 to the Brest Regional Museum of Local History, on September 27 – to the Museum of the History of the City of Brest. Here guests will find a large-scale immersion in the chronicle of Beresteyshchina from ancient times to the present day, you can learn how the city has changed over the centuries.

In Grodno from 21 to 25 September will offer a variety of educational routes with visits to temples and museums. Among the objects are the Kolozhskaya Church, the gallery “Grishuk Arsenal”, the Pokrovsky Cathedral, the Museum of the History of the Fire Service, thematic walks “History with Taste”, “Grodno Angels”, “Beloved Grodno”, “Jewish Grodno” and others.

TIC Zelvensky district on September 30 will hold at the recreation center "Berezhki" event "Towards adventure" with a quest and sports and entertainment program. TIC of Smorgon district invites you to a sightseeing tour of Smorgon on September 25 and 27, TIC of Kletsk district on September 27 - on an excursion "In the footsteps of the history of Kletchyna". TIC Oshmyansky district on September 25-27 organizes an open day, September 25 and 26 - a quest game "Secrets of the Old City", September 26 and 27 - a master class on artistic painting of the Golshansk gingerbread, September 27 - a quiz quest "On the pages of the history of the county city". TIC Korelichsky district on September 28-30 will organize a free tour "There is peace in the world". Also, tourists on September 28-30 are waiting in the private museum of the history and culture of Peace and Jewish life “Mirsky Posad”. TIC Polotsk district will hold a free sightseeing tour of Polotsk on September 25.

Excursions are held by appointment, the number of places is limited. According to the information and tourist center “Minsk”, the record for all excursions in Minsk is already closed.
