Galich hospital received equipment for additional operations
In the Galich Central District Hospital received a new anesthesia-respiratory apparatus

The Galich Central District Hospital received a new anesthesia-respiratory apparatus. The acquisition will expand the capabilities of the surgical department and increase the number of scheduled operations. Currently, doctors conduct at least three such interventions a day, and with the new equipment, two operating teams will be able to work simultaneously.
The development of the Galich CRB as one of the key medical centers for residents of the northern districts of the Kostroma region remains a priority identified by Governor Sergey Sitnikov. One of the main directions of this work is to equip the hospital with modern equipment.
In recent years, the institution has received more than 30 units of new medical equipment. In August, the fleet of vehicles was replenished with a portable therapeutic bronchofibroscop. With it, doctors can examine the trachea and bronchi, minimizing discomfort for the patient.
At the same time, the hospital’s infrastructure is being updated. In the outpatient department, major repairs were carried out: the layout of the first floor was changed, the entrance group was put in order, engineering communications and the roof were replaced.
Updating equipment and facilities should help the medical institution expand the range of available care, improve the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The hospital serves residents of several districts of the region, so the development of its capabilities is important for the availability of medical services in the northern part of the region.
