In the industrial park "AFI Prom Altufievo" in Otradny will install 23 elevators, 16 of them are passenger. Details were announced by the Minister of the Government of Moscow, head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy Anatoly Garbuzov.
The four-storey industrial park with an area of more than 130 thousand m2 will install 23 elevators, of which 16 will be passenger. Thanks to a well-thought-out system of vertical movement, employees will be able to directly reach their blocks, including from the operated roof, where parking is provided, without intersecting with the flows of freight transport, Garbuzov said.
After the launch, the facility will create more than 3,500 jobs.
Passenger elevators will connect production blocks with parking on the roof, freight elevators will deliver raw materials, equipment and products between levels. The flow of people and goods does not intersect. Cargo elevators were manufactured by Karacharovsky Mechanical Plant.
Trucks on car ramps will be able to climb to the production facilities on the upper floors. Separate routes are provided for employees and visitors, personal and service transport, as well as trucks.
Evgeny Potashnikov, General Director of AFI Development, noted that the internal logistics is built so that people quickly and safely get to work places, and cargo flows go on separate routes without interfering with staff. Elevators, separation of zones and thoughtful vertical connections provide good working conditions.
