Gazpromneft-SM starts production of oils for industrial compressors

Gazpromneft Lubricants, the operator of the oils business of Gazprom Neft, has started production of specialized oils for industrial compressors. Such equipment is used in energy, oil and gas industry, metallurgy, construction, transport and other fields. Synthetic oils are designed for high loads. The manufacturer considers them as a replacement for foreign analogues.

Sergey Starodubtsev, General Director of Gazpromneft-SM, noted that over the past few years the company has expanded its range of lubricants due to new product specifications, which were not produced in our country until recently.

These are oils for transport, white oils for food and pharmaceuticals, industrial oils for energy and infrastructure projects. All these products are the result of the work of a team of analysts, scientists and engineers, said Starodubtsev.

Gazpromneft Compressor PAO Synth-46 oil was developed by specialists of the Lubricants Research Center. When creating the product, engineers studied the requirements of compressor equipment manufacturers and, using their own digital platform based on artificial intelligence, determined a combination of a synthetic base and a additive package.

Earlier it was reported about the development of a new domestic oil for gas reciprocating engines.
