Where in Ulyanovsk will update pedestrian crossings: a list of addresses

In Ulyanovsk, another 21 pedestrian crossings began to lead to safety requirements. Particular attention will be paid to the routes that children use on the way to schools, kindergartens and institutions of further education.

At the transitions, they plan to pave the approaches and update the markup. Depending on the specific site, additional lighting, missing road signs, barrier fences and T7 traffic lights with a flashing yellow signal will appear.

Work will cover all four districts of the city. In the Leninsky district, the transitions will be updated on the streets of Defenders of the Fatherland, Lenin, Repin, Sports and Federation.

In the Railway area, the list includes Gaia Avenue, 77, the intersection of Kirov-III International, as well as several sections of Transport Street: near the house No. 10 and at the intersections with Herzen Street, Suvorov and Ustinov lanes.

In the Volga region, work is planned on Karbyshev, 1B and 1D, Orenburg and Tupolev Avenue. In Zasviyazhye - on Pushkarev, 60A, the intersections of Industrial - Sholmov, Otradnaya - Samara, Polbina - Western Boulevard, as well as on Zhigulevskaya, 17. Another transition will be put in order in Barataevka near the house No. 18A on Gerasimov Street.

Seven sites on the list are located directly next to educational institutions or are included in alternative routes to them. In particular, the transitions to Transport were included in the program after the appeal of a resident of Suvorov lane during the direct line of Governor Alexei Russky.

After the appeal, the head of Ulyanovsk Alexander Boldakin examined the routes by which children from the microdistrict “University” get to lyceums No. 11 and 40. Part of the necessary security measures at these sites were carried out within two weeks. Now the work will continue as part of the general renewal of pedestrian crossings.
