This year, there was an increase of 13% in the number of appeals received by the prosecutor’s office. This was stated by the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Belarus Dmitry Gora.

This year, there was an increase of 13% in the number of appeals received by the prosecutor’s office. This was stated by the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Belarus Dmitry Gora on October 7 at a joint meeting of the House of Representatives and the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus, the correspondent of sb.by reports.

Dmitri Gora. Speaking about the work with appeals of citizens and legal entities, Dmitry Gora noted that in fact, the prosecutor's office considered more than 40 thousand appeals, recognized as justified (fully or partially) about a third of appeals.
- A significant proportion were complaints about decisions on administrative offences, as well as actions and decisions of the bodies of inquiry and preliminary investigation. Prosecutors at a personal reception received almost 50 thousand applicants. Based on the results of consideration of appeals for each violation of the rights and legitimate interests of citizens, as well as the requirements of the legislation, response measures were taken, in total, more than 6 thousand acts of supervision were introduced in this part, the Prosecutor General of Belarus stated. 123 criminal cases opened in Belarus for concealment of case – Prosecutor General
