Hero of Russia, student of MarSU Anatoly Ivanov visited the Military Space Academy
A student of the psychological and pedagogical faculty of Mari State University, Hero of Russia Anatoly Ivanov paid an official visit to the A.F. Mozhaisky Military Space Academy in St. Petersburg.
The trip was organized as part of the international forum “All for Victory!”, aimed at preserving the historical truth and patriotic education of young people.
The meeting has deep historical significance. In 1941, the Mari Pedagogical Institute was evacuated to Kozmodemyansk, and its empty building in Yoshkar-Ola was occupied by the engineering faculty of the Leningrad Air Force Academy. So two universities shoulder to shoulder forged the Victory: teachers gave knowledge to children in the rear, and the Academy trained more than 2,200 military engineers for the front.
During the visit, representatives of universities not only honored the memory of the past, but also discussed plans for joint work and new formats of interaction for the 2027 forum. For the cadets of the Academy, communication with the Hero of Russia became a powerful motivating event, clearly demonstrating the connection of the heroic past with the modern achievements of the country.
MarSU will continue to strengthen its partnership with leading military universities in Russia.
