Gymnasium No. 631 issued a warning for a shortage of 766 textbooks

The Education Committee has issued a warning to Gymnasium No. 631 of the Primorsky District due to a shortage of textbooks. The educational institution lacked 766 books on physical culture, music, labor and fine arts. This became known from the data of the Prosecutor General.

According to the Agency, the institution on school street, 13, lacks 429 textbooks on physical education, 183 — on music, 98 — on labor and 56 — on fine arts. Textbooks on these subjects are given to teachers for work in the classroom - one copy per desk. At the same time, by law, every student must be provided with textbooks free of charge.

The committee called for action to be taken to remedy violations. The school has been operating since 1994. Since March 2024, the duties of the director are performed by Lina Tumashevich.

According to Kontur.Focus, the gymnasium participated in ten arbitration cases, nine of them were the defendant. The total amount of claims for completed cases is about 23.8 million rubles. During the inspections in the institution ten times revealed violations.
