The head of Karelia thanked the residents of the republic for participating in the elections-2026

Ahead is the counting of votes and summing up the results.

On September 20, at 20:00, the Single Voting Day ended. From Friday to Sunday, residents of Karelia elected deputies of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the ninth convocation, deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the Republic of the eighth convocation, and in Petrozavodsk and Kostomuksha - also deputies of city councils.

The head of the region Artur Parfenchikov thanked fellow countrymen for participating in the voting.

- Thank you to everyone who came to the polling stations, who found the time and opportunity to express their civic position, the Head of the Republic addressed the residents of Karelia. Separately, the head of the region expressed gratitude to law enforcement officers, members of election commissions and observers for organizing and ensuring the electoral process.

- Ahead is the responsible stage of counting votes and summing up the results. Thank you to everyone who supported the candidates of United Russia and united around our President. We will continue to work for you and together with you, said Arthur Parfenchikov.
