The head of the KCR reported on the progress of harvesting apples

In Karachay-Cherkessia, the harvesting campaign of apples continues, which involves 300 people daily. The head of the republic, Rashid Temrezov, said in social networks that about 60% of the harvest has been harvested so far. A total of 6,500 tons of apples were collected, of which 6,000 tons were sent for winter storage in the fruit storage facility.

The yield this year is 50 tons per hectare, which is 42% higher than last year. Temrezov noted that the republic expects a record harvest. He also recalled that at the international exhibition "ProdExpo" apples of the Red Delishes variety grown in the gardens of Karachay-Cherkessia received a gold medal and the highest award of the contest "Best Product of the Year - 2026". The head of the republic expressed confidence that thanks to the professionalism of employees of the agro-industrial complex, KCR products will retain a worthy place in the Russian market.

Earlier it was reported that schoolchildren from the village of Maryinska collected 500 kg of apples and sent some to the soldiers of the SVO.
