Chairman of the public organization “Red Cross of Zaporizhia region” Svetlana Starygina was awarded for her active work to support residents of the region.
The diploma was presented to her at the headquarters of public support of “United Russia” Sergey Obertas, acting deputy governor of the Zaporozhye region. The award was transferred from Nikolai Novichkov, who replaces the post of chairman of the State Duma Committee on the Development of Civil Society, Public and Religious Associations.
The document notes the significant contribution of Svetlana Starygina to maintaining social stability and protecting the rights of citizens in difficult socio-economic and infrastructural conditions. Separately, her efforts to develop the volunteer movement in the region, as well as work on personal support of people and teaching them the necessary skills, were emphasized.
In addition, Svetlana Starygina received gratitude from Evgeny Balitsky, the governor of the Zaporozhye region and secretary of the regional branch of the United Russia party.
Under the leadership of Starygina, the Red Cross provides daily assistance to people in difficult situations: organizes the delivery of humanitarian supplies, conducts training in first aid skills, supports evacuees. The awards were a recognition of this large-scale and important work.
