The head of the Investigative Committee of Russia requested a report on poor-quality medical care in the Stavropol Territory

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin through the Information Center was addressed by a resident of the Stavropol Territory. She disagreed with the process of establishing the circumstances of the death of her newborn son after providing unqualified medical care.

In September 2025, the woman entered a medical institution in connection with the beginning of labor. Due to the wrong tactics of delivery, the child after birth had complications, he was in the intensive care unit for a long time and died in February of this year. So far, no one has been held accountable.

The SU IC of Russia in the Stavropol Territory is investigating a criminal case, in which Bastrykin previously instructed to submit a report. Now the head of the department asked the head of the regional department Alexander Perepelitsyn for an up-to-date report on the investigative actions and established circumstances.

The execution of the order is put under control in the central office of the department.
