The main Khurul of Kalmykia switched to winter time

Central Khurul of Kalmykia "Golden Abode of Buddha Shakyamuni" switched to the winter schedule. Now the temple will be open from 7:00 to 17:00.

Khurul also reminded about the rules of visiting, which help to preserve the special atmosphere of the holy place. Ministers ask guests to take care of traditions and observe them.

When visiting the temple, it is important to bypass the holy objects and turn the prayer drums “curds” clockwise. The altar part is intended only for believers, which helps to preserve the sacredness of the space. Inside the temple, you need to be restrained. Clothing should cover the shoulders and knees. Men will fit pants or shorts below the knees, women – dresses or skirts below the knees.

Before entering the temple, you need to remove shoes and hats, and transfer your mobile phone to silent mode or turn off. Photography and video recording are prohibited inside the temple. When leaving the hall, do not turn your back on the Buddha statue.
