An extraordinary reporting conference of the Minsk city organization of the NGO “Belarusian Union of Women” was held on October 13, a correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency reports.
“The Minsk organization of the Belarusian Women’s Union unites 1,143 primary organizations, of which 86 are private ownership,” said its chairman Ekaterina Luchina. The organization unites 30,874 participants, including 5,272 women – these are young people under 31 years of age.
Luchina noted that since the beginning of 2026, the number of first-time students has increased by 51, and the capital organization has grown by almost 3 thousand participants. She also talked about the ongoing projects.
- Among them are the action to collect assistance for disabled children, the projects #InMesta, Narcosbyt. Stop on time", "Girl - Girl - Woman", "Symphony of the heart", - said E. Lucina. Participants of the Minsk City Organization of the Belarusian Women’s Union traditionally join the republican actions “Our Children”, “From the bottom of their hearts”, organize dialogue platforms, family meetings with government representatives, clergy.
During the reporting conference, members of the board and delegates were also elected to participate in the republican reporting conference.
