The Governor of the Vladimir region Alexander Avdeev told about the development plans of Gorokhovets for the coming years. The topic was raised during a direct line after questions from residents about the distribution of funds for improvement between the regional center and remote territories.
The head of the region confirmed that large-scale work continues in Vladimir, including with the involvement of federal funding. Among the objects on which the attention of the authorities is focused are the DTU Park, the Station Square, the territory behind the Philharmonic and the renovation of sidewalks. Work on these sites is planned to continue in 2027.
At the same time, Avdeev noted that about a third of the regional budget expenditures are directed to support municipalities. Major projects are also being implemented and prepared in Murom, Mster and Yuriev-Polish.
A separate block of plans concerns Gorokhovets. They intend to expand the embankment, develop tourist routes by water and resume the work of the Gorokhovets shipyard.
Another area of the regional program is the preparation for the 60th anniversary of the Golden Ring tourist route. In the Vladimir region, it includes 13 settlements. The authorities intend to carry out improvement works in them to prepare the territories for the anniversary date and make them more convenient for tourists.
