The traffic police reminded pedestrians about the reflectors in the autumn

The State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia reminded that in autumn it is especially important for pedestrians to use retroreflective elements. This helps drivers to notice the person earlier, and children to reduce the risk on the road.

In settlements, such elements are advisory in nature, and outside settlements in the dark and in poor visibility – mandatory. They stressed that the reflectors make the pedestrian more visible in the light of the headlights.

Separately, the inspectors appealed to the parents. They asked to ensure that children, especially schoolchildren who go to school, sections and circles, use reflectors. The same applies to children on the country roads.

Earlier, we wrote that in the Timashevsky district, auto inspectors reminded drivers not to be distracted by gadgets while driving.
