The press service said:
- Traditionally, on the Day of Standardization and the World Day of Standardization, Gosstandart organizations hold events of various formats. The target audience will be both industrial enterprises and small and medium-sized businesses, students and schoolchildren, citizens of our country.
One of the key events is the scientific and practical conference, which will be held on October 16 at the initiative of Gosstandart and BelGISS. The theme is “A Shared Vision for a Better World.” Standards for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.” At this platform, issues of strategic development of state and interstate standardization, innovative approaches in the processes of developing and adopting standards, the experience of their application in various sectors of the economy will be discussed.
In addition, according to tradition, the award ceremony of the winners of the competition “Best specialist in standardization – 2026” will be held. It was held for the fifth time.
- The main goal of the events is to draw attention to activities in the field of technical regulation and standardization, improving the quality and competitiveness of domestic products and services, as well as reflecting the role of standards in addressing issues relevant to society, the press service noted.
