Tula rescuers assessed the readiness of the temporary accommodation, shelter and sanitary-washing point. The inspection takes place as part of the training on civil defense, which is held in the region from 7 to 9 October, explained “MK in Tula” in the press service of the GU EMERCOM of Russia in the region.
Employees of the department, as follows from the official message, checked several objects at once. Among them, a temporary accommodation point, a shelter with a personal protective equipment issue point and a sanitary and washing point.
In the sports hall of the temporary accommodation points, places were prepared for people: folding beds were installed, clean bedding, pillows and blankets were laid out. Also equipped workplaces for meeting, receiving and registering arrivals. Specialists checked first aid kits, supplies of drinking water and hygiene products.
Special attention was paid to the conditions for families with children. The station equipped a room for mother and child, prepared toys, books and necessary baby supplies. On the traffic routes, signs were placed to the medical station, the psychological support room, the help desk and the public order guard.
In the shelter, specialists checked the work of the point of issue of personal protective equipment. In particular, they assessed the availability and serviceability of civilian gas masks, which are stored in special places and distributed in size. For rapid issuance, separate storage areas, training in the rules of use and preparation of means for use were equipped.
“The availability of temporary accommodation and shelter is a critical security element. We checked not only the availability of property and equipment, but also the ability of staff to quickly and competently act in an emergency situation. It is on these skills that the life and health of citizens depends, the employees of the EMERCOM of Russia noted.
Conducting such training allows you to check how infrastructure and employees are ready for action in emergency situations, as well as to eliminate the detected shortcomings in time.
We will remind, earlier “MK in Tula” wrote that the All-Russian inspection of the warning system in the Tula region was postponed from 7 to 9 October. According to the press service of the regional government, the decision was made by the Chairman of the Russian government.
The inspection time has not changed. At 10:40, sirens will be turned on in the region, after which the air of all-Russian mandatory public TV channels and radio stations will be replaced by an information message.
