Sebezhsky district court has elected a measure of restraint to a citizen of the Republic of Belarus, accused of attempted bribery to an official. This “MK in Pskov” reported in the press service of the courts of the Pskov region.

On October 31, 2026, the man arrived by vehicle at the customs post of the MAPP “Burachki” of the Pskov customs. During customs control, the permit revealed a violation: an indication of the incorrect total weight of the cargo transported.

Wanting to avoid administrative responsibility, the accused handed over 300 euros to the leading inspector of the post as a bribe, but could not bring the intent to the end: the customs officer refused to receive a bribe, and the criminal actions were stopped by the Pskov customs officers.

The court chose house arrest for a citizen of the Republic of Belarus for a period of 2 months.
