The truck in Nizhny Novgorod sued 5 million rubles from the employer for injury

The Nizhny Novgorod Regional Court increased up to 5 million rubles compensation for moral damage to a loader who received serious injuries at work. This was reported in the press service of the court.

In July 2023, the man first went to work as a loader. When loading, he fell from the car and suffered multiple fractures. Almost six months he was treated in hospital and underwent several operations. Now he has a disability, he can not move independently.

It turned out that the employer did not issue an employment contract with the employee and did not provide safe working conditions - this led to an accident. The court of first instance awarded the victim 1 million rubles of moral damage, lost earnings and funds for medical, social and professional rehabilitation. After the appeal, the amount of compensation increased to 5 million rubles.
