Humanitarian corridor: Belarus ensures transfer of citizens between Ukraine and Russia
On the Belarusian-Ukrainian border, a humanitarian action was held at the Novaya Ghouta checkpoint. 15 people went from Russia to Ukraine, and 3 citizens came from Chernihiv region to Russia.

Belarus is once again helping to implement humanitarian agreements between its neighbours. On September 17, an operation to return citizens and reunite families took place on our territory. 15 people went to Ukraine, three more – to Russia.
The meeting place is the “New Ghouta” checkpoint. From the Russian side, citizens of Ukraine were brought here, a group of Russian citizens arrived to meet them from the Chernihiv region. It was here that the transfer took place, many needed transportation by ambulance. Behind all formal procedures are months of waiting and hope to see relatives again.
Belarus took over the organization and provision of the humanitarian route. People were provided with medical and psychological care, food and the opportunity to rest. Here they were able to prepare for the further journey – now towards home. For some, the return will continue with treatment and recovery, and for everyone – a meeting with loved ones.
Russia and Ukraine held another exchange of bodies of dead soldiers in the “New Ghouta” formula 252 on 23
