The new sports complex of the Belarusian State Technological University will primarily be used for physical education classes and training of the university’s national teams. Lovers are also waiting here.

The complex occupies almost 5,000 square meters and can accommodate about 240 people at the same time. The largest room is a universal gaming hall adapted for games in volleyball, handball, mini-football and basketball. Nearby there is a hall for power types, where representatives of powerlifting, armwrestling and weightlifting are trained. On the second floor there is a 25-meter pool on six tracks, a gym and a martial arts hall. There are two saunas as well as a ski base.

The new complex "Mandarin" opened in Stone Hill. The aquazone includes a 25-meter swimming pool, a swimming learning bowl, a children's pool, two hot tubs, a font and a cafe. There is also a thermal block: two Russian, Turkish and Finnish baths, a salt room. There is a multifunctional gym. The one-time capacity of the aquazone is 206 people, the gym is 50.

New life

During the year, the reconstruction of the Tractor stadium, located next to the National Football Stadium, was carried out. On the main field with natural lawn, a new gate was installed and the drainage system was put in order. For training there were two mini-platforms with artificial coating. Completely replaced the stands. New coverage received stairs and a pedestrian gallery, roof. Commentator cabins were closed, and a protective canopy of metal structures appeared above the VIP zone. Places are provided for physically weakened persons and accompanying persons. Now the stadium is the home arena for the matches of the men’s team of the Minsk Football Club.
