Internet fraudsters deceived 4,044 residents of the Krasnoyarsk Territory
Since the beginning of the year, more than four thousand residents of the Krasnoyarsk Territory have become victims of Internet criminals
Law enforcement officers solved 910 IT crimes. In the regional courts there were 569 criminal cases of theft on the Internet.
Over the past week, 72 residents of the region were deceived. They lost more than 28 million rubles. In five cases, online advertising led to the loss of money, 18 people were called by false security agents, 16 were caught on phishing sites.
Still relevant is the loss of money when asked to borrow friends in social networks, such cases recorded eight. All cases are investigated.
If we talk about the data since the beginning of 2026, the prosecutors sent about three hundred lawsuits in the interests of victims of telephone fraudsters.
