Over five years, the volume of investments attracted to the Ulyanovsk region has almost doubled and reached 161 billion rubles. Now new projects are being prepared in the region - from pharmaceutical industries to a large seed complex.
One of the new areas will be pharmaceuticals. In the port special economic zone, it is planned to form a cluster that will unite enterprises for the development of medicines, their production and further distribution.
Another major project is related to agriculture. Shchelkovo Agrokhim intends to build a seed complex in the Terengul district. Land plots have been identified for the project.
The development of an industrial site in the Volga region continues. There, the construction of a new production building of the Zavolzhye industrial park is coming to completion. In parallel, negotiations are underway with potential residents who will be able to place their enterprises on the site.
In addition, the creation of a new special economic zone is being worked out in the Volga region. It should become another territory for production and investment projects.
Against the background of the launch of new sites over the past five years, the total volume of investments attracted to the Ulyanovsk region almost doubled and amounted to 161 billion rubles. The region is also expanding the list of industries in which new industries appear: pharmaceuticals and modern projects in the agro-industrial complex are added to the traditional industrial sector.
A separate area of further work will be the digitalization of interaction with investors and the spread of investment standards at the municipal level.
