The Governor of NAO Irina Gekht congratulated workers of agriculture and processing industry on their professional holiday.
- Our farmers have a short summer to feed the long winter. In time to prepare forage, prepare the farm for the cold, all year round to take care of the herd — in the Arctic, these tasks require twice, and sometimes three times more skill, — said the head of the region.
She stressed that local milk and meat on the tables of residents are the result of knowledge, aging and daily work of workers in the industry. The governor thanked them for taking care of their countrymen and for the experience that is passed on to young people.
Irina Gekht wished the farmers health, prosperity in families, reliable equipment and good weather at the right time, and also congratulated everyone on the holiday.
