The results of the construction industry for 8 months discussed at a meeting in the Council of Ministers

On September 21, Prime Minister of Belarus Alexander Turchin held the second working meeting on the results of the construction industry for 8 months of 2026. This was reported in the press service of the Government, writes sb.by.

In addition to the relevant ministers, deputy chairmen of the regional executive committees and the Minsk City Executive Committee responsible for the construction complex were invited to the discussion.

The reasons for the slowdown in individual regions and measures that will help to level the situation by intensifying work on the implementation of major projects, construction of housing, state and local investment programs, and overhaul will be reported.

- We see obvious reserves in the construction industry, which we need to implement, said Alexander Turchin. In terms of the construction complex, the results are more than 100 percent. But, as I say, this result cannot satisfy me because we see obvious reserves in the construction industry that we need to realize.
