The head of Murmansk Ivan Lebedev spoke about the work of utilities, which continue to monitor the cleanliness of city parks, squares and public spaces in the run-up to winter.

As the head of the city noted, snow in October is a familiar phenomenon for Murmansk, so utilities are ready for the onset of cold weather. Cleaning of public spaces continues daily.

Employees of Murmansk City Parks and Squares maintain order in places where citizens like to walk and relax. This morning, they worked in Central Square, on the promenade of Leningradskaya Street, in the memorial complex “Seafarers who died in peacetime”, as well as in the green area near the monument “Torn Heart”.

Earlier, “MK in Murmansk” reported that drivers of the Arctic were asked not to try a meter to pass in summer “slippers” because of ice.
