Ivanovo will begin to decorate for the New Year in late November

Ivanov’s preparations for the 2027 meeting will start at the end of November. For festive design, both existing designs and new light elements are used. Among the acquisitions of this year are an artificial spruce 12 meters high, the composition “Dancing Beauty”, a photo zone and garlands-roots. The city administration provided details in response to a request from Ivanovo News.

The main tree will traditionally be installed on Pushkin Square in front of the theater complex. For this purpose, the previously purchased structure with a height of 22 meters is used. Nearby will be placed light figures of Santa Claus, Snow Maiden and two snowmen, and in the bowl of the fountain will appear festive composition “2027”.

At the station square will install a 12-meter artificial spruce. Two more eight-meter trees will be placed on Lenin Square and near the Sovremennik cinema. In the City Square, a living tree 20 meters high will be decorated, on which LED snowflakes and a garland will appear.

Festive designs will also be installed in four city parks. In the "Kharinka" and the City Children's Park will be placed Christmas trees with a height of 8.5 meters, and in the parks named after Stepanov and the Revolution of 1905 - six meters. All of these designs were purchased earlier.

The new design will be prepared for the square near the circus. Above the alley leading to the Frunze monument, an LED ceiling will be mounted. Here will appear the composition “Dancing Beauty”, light “Christmas” and the photo zone “Photoramochka”. Garlands will be decorated with 34 lampposts and the art object “Hearts”.

In the Park Yakov Garelin will install an LED carriage, which will provide the company "Rosseti". Festive illumination will receive Bath, Sokov and Theatre bridges. Garlands and light elements will also appear on the Uvodi embankment, Victory Square, in Pharmacy Lane and near the city administration building. On Velizhskaya Street will install light consoles in the form of Christmas trees.

In addition, it is planned to decorate with garlands 42 living trees in different parts of the city. Among the sites are Troitsky and Sports Squares, Memory Square, Pushkin Square, Lenin Square and Vozalnaya Square. The technical task for these works is still in development. The initial maximum price of the contract is about 2.6 million rubles. This is the maximum amount of purchase, not the cost of an already concluded contract.
