Due to heavy rains, the city services of Gomel were put on high alert

Due to worsening weather and increasing rainfall, they work in an enhanced mode. Specialists of the road construction and repair trust conduct constant monitoring of the situation using video surveillance systems, the Gomel Telegram channel reports. Officially," writes sb.by.

Particular attention is paid to sections of streets and roads that are at risk and periodically flooded. To eliminate the consequences of bad weather, duty emergency teams have been created, ready to quickly leave and perform work on cleaning showers and pumping water.

One of these areas is Barykin Street. Here, communal workers needed to eliminate flooding: a specialized machine and workers are involved in the area of the 3rd school, where water is pumped. The city executive committee assured that the situation is under control.

In difficult weather conditions, Gomel residents and guests of the city are recommended to be especially careful on the way: observe traffic rules and speed with limited visibility and wet roads.
