Due to fog in the Rostov region introduced a yellow level of weather danger

Residents of the Rostov region were warned about potentially dangerous weather conditions. In the region declared a yellow level of danger due to the expected fog.

According to the forecast of the Hydrometeorological Center, fog in places can significantly worsen visibility. The warning period is set until 9:00 on October 12.

The yellow level of weather hazard indicates the likelihood of adverse meteorological events. These include not only fog, but also thunderstorms, heavy rainfall, gusty winds, as well as extreme temperatures.

The greatest inconvenience fog can deliver to road users. Due to limited visibility, it becomes more difficult for drivers to notice obstacles and other vehicles in a timely manner.

In such conditions, motorists are advised to reduce speed, increase the distance to the transport ahead and abandon sudden changes.
