In Murmansk, the court sentenced a previously convicted local resident born in 1991 to seven years and six months in prison for robbery. This was reported by the press service of the Leninsky District Court.
It was established that on April 8, 2026, the man was drinking at a friend’s house. When the guests separated, he decided to go back and steal the money because he was missing it. The woman opened the door and he demanded to give him the money. He was refused, and then he took up the knife, put it to the neck of the mistress and again demanded money. The woman refused again. Then the man inspected the kitchen, took possessions and food and fled.
He caused physical pain, bodily injuries without short-term health disorders, as well as damage to 1.24 thousand rubles and moral damage.
In court, the man admitted guilt partially, but his guilt was confirmed by evidence. The court considered the recidivism of crimes and the commission of a crime while intoxicated as aggravating circumstances. Under the article on robbery with illegal entry into the home, he was sentenced to seven years in prison. At the same time, together with the punishment of May 15, 2024, the final term was seven years and six months in a strict regime colony. The sentence has entered into force.
