The first snow is possible in the region from October 8. Night and morning frosts are expected, because of which the road surface can become slippery.
For motorists, this means more difficult conditions on the roads. Wet snow, low temperature and possible ice increase the risk of skidding and worsen grip. Therefore, summer tires are recommended to be replaced by winter tires in the coming days.
It is especially important not to postpone a trip to tire fittings for those who regularly drive early in the morning or late in the evening, when the probability of frost is higher.
