At the city-wide meeting, Alexander Novikov summed up the results of the detour of the Leninsky district, during which he discussed the issues raised by residents during personal meetings.
One of the most pressing issues was the change of route No. 50 in the direction of the oncology center. Residents were interested in the reasons for adjusting the traffic schedule. According to the head of the ICTT, this decision was made on the basis of an analysis of passenger traffic, and the number of transport units on the line was increased from seven to eight. However, during the detour, it turned out that the changes still created certain inconveniences for residents.
In connection with the identified problems, the head of the city ordered that any adjustments to public transport routes be coordinated with him personally. However, he pointed to the need to provide a clear justification for each change, including an assessment of the expected economic and social impact, as well as an analysis of passenger convenience. In addition, a prerequisite was a preliminary discussion of the planned measures with residents, which will allow to make changes to the schedules before their official implementation.
