By 2030, a full-fledged digital infrastructure in educational institutions will be formed in Chuvashia: internal networks, stable Wi-Fi and video surveillance systems will appear in 91.2% of schools and colleges. In addition, 60.3% of teachers will provide tablets on the domestic operating system. This was announced by Minister of Digital Development Mikhail Stepanov at a meeting of the project committee led by Prime Minister Sergey Artamonov.
Special attention was paid to rural schools, where there are still interruptions with the Internet. The modern digital environment will allow students even in remote settlements to have equal access to quality educational resources. Sergey Artamonov instructed to synchronize the laying of networks with major repairs of schools and to keep under special control issues of cybersecurity and protection of personal data of students.
The Committee also reviewed the implementation of the project “Domestic Solutions”. The key task of 2026 is to completely replace foreign software with domestic software in the typical work processes of the authorities. The share of Russian software this year should be 83%, and by 2030 – to reach 95%. 136 million rubles were allocated for the purchase and support of software from the republican budget. As of September 30, 7 contracts have been concluded and executed.
