In Kirovsk in October plan to plant more than five thousand shrubs and trees. This was reported by the press service of the city administration.

Work is already underway in squares on the streets of Leningradskaya and Kondrikov, as well as at the cultural center "Bolshevik". Then the landing will continue in the Park “Kukisvumchorr”. Greening is carried out according to the city program, and the contractor is the Polar Experimental Station. The administration noted that after the improvement of each square, plants are necessarily planted there.

They prefer to plant spirea of different types, lilacs and other shrubs and trees. Specialists choose plants that take root well in the north, unpretentious in care and bloom beautifully in different periods. For example, lilac and spirea have almost one hundred percent survival rate.

Earlier, “MK in Murmansk” said that more than five thousand seedlings found their soil in the forests of the Kola Arctic thanks to the northerners.
